This interactive session uses a recent student-led skills gap analysis as a springboard for discussion and action. The session will begin with a brief presentation highlighting key findings from the study, followed by a panel discussion featuring a recent graduate, a local employer, and a faculty member. Panelists will explore how skills gaps show up in practice, why they persist, and approaches that have shown promise in closing them. Attendees will then participate in round-table discussions focused on specific skills gaps, identifying root causes and generating actionable solutions that students, universities, and employers can implement to close these gaps. The session will conclude with a group debrief and key takeaways.
